Join us as we launch the latest double-issue of Contradictions and ask a few of our authors:
Can civil society save us?
With this simplified provocation we look into the complicated history of the Russian Revolution, the Prague Spring, the transformations of 1989–91, and the leading ideas that accompanied these changes. Speakers include Veronika Stoyanova (University of Kent), Monika Woźniak (University of Warsaw), Tereza Reichelová (Charles University), and Jan Mervart (Philosophy Institute, Czech Academy of Sciences). Panel discussion moderated by Contradictions editor Joe Grim Feinberg.
