2020-2022
Based on the identified areas requiring improvement, as recorded in the GAP analysis, a list of measures was created in the form of an Action Plan. This document sets out a plan of activities, or possible solutions to the identified shortcomings, which were gradually implemented in 2021 and 2022. The aim of implementing the Action Plan at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences is to create a working environment comparable to European ERA standards, while also supporting excellent scientific research through its settings.
2023-2026
Feedback for the two-year implementation phase of the activities contained in the Action Plan is being collected from employees from the beginning of the year 2023. Based on this internal self-assessment a revised Action Plan has been developed and includes an assessment of this implementation phase as well as a plan of activities for 2023-2026.

2026-2029
In 2026, we reached the renewal phase of the Action Plan. In June 2026, a revised version of the document was finalised and published, containing an evaluation of the previous period as well as a plan of activities for 2026–2029.
As part of the preparation of the new Action Plan for the period 7/2026–7/2029, the internal review was carried out through a questionnaire survey conducted in April 2026. The survey focused on the professional and ethical aspects of research work, working conditions, equal opportunities, popularisation and internal communication, support for publishing and Open Science, grant support, and related service agendas. The survey results, including open-ended responses, were used to update the strengths and weaknesses of current practice and to formulate new activities for the Action Plan.
At the same time, additional sources of feedback were used, in particular interviews with newly recruited employees during the onboarding period, feedback obtained upon termination of employment, meetings between the Institute’s management and individual departments, meetings of heads of research departments, and outputs from thematic working groups.
