Organized by the Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Leipzig, the GWZO Prague & Institute of Philosophy, CAS Platform, and the Centre for Medieval Studies (Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences)

This year’s September School is titled Famous and Infamous: Rumours, Slander, and Reputation in the Middle Ages. Participants will explore the formation and communication of reputation and slander in Central Europe during the High and Late Middle Ages, with particular attention to different media, target audiences, and the question of public space.
The week-long intensive course is free of charge. Accommodation will be provided, as well as transportation from Prague to Leipzig.

We invite all PhD students to submit applications for the 3rd September School in Medieval Studies (Prague–Leipzig).
