The HumanAId project focuses on applied research into the potential uses of generative artificial intelligence (AI), particularly large language models (LLMs), with the aim of strengthening democratic processes and interpersonal communication. The project seeks to achieve a deeper understanding of the broader social and cultural roles of AI, which have until now been attributed primarily to humans. HumanAId brings together excellent research teams that will become involved in the European Research Area (ERA) and has the appropriate material conditions required to accomplish its objectives.
