John Skorupski is one of the best-known contemporary British philosophers. He is known for his work on normativity and recognized as perhaps the world-leading expert on the philosophy of John Stuart Mill. In his Prague lecture, Skorupski will track and untangle the complex and often uneasy relationship Mill had with democracy.
