Media Temporalities as Object of Knowledge

Starting from an "operative" definition of technological media, media epistemology will be specified in its various modes. With critical reference to G. W. F. Hegel's critique of mathematical machines, the philosophy of (media) history will be questioned by a close reading of the specific tempor(e)alities of technologies. Media diagrammatics here replaces traditional history of technology. Technological and epistemological experimenting (with) media time leads to a final focus on "sonicity" as epistemic media object in the dynamic chronosphere.
