Abstract
Formal epistemology is recently developed in several different directions, many of which describe the process of knowledge acquisition in a subjective way. The Fregean approach to epistemology attempts to transfer his anti-psychologism from logic also to epistemology.

As analogy to a logical inference, understood as a process of passing from two premises to their logical consequence I suggest to introduce epistemological inference as passing from empirical data (replacing the first premise) and linguistic framework (replacing the second one) to their epistemological consequence.
