Manuela Marai returns to the project to lead our Monday Seminar. She'll be presenting her paper: "Distillation in The Graeco-Roman World: Production and Fractionation of Resinous Substances for Pharmaceutical Use."

She will speak about her experiments replicating unusual methods of pine / pitch distillation which she discovered in ancient Greek and Roman medical and botanical texts.
