Detailed information

Czechia in the Global AI Landscape: Where Are We and Where Ought We Be?

Attendance upon prior registration. For details also see the CETE-P website.

In order to shape the future of AI, policymakers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and future talent need to understand the whatwhyhowwhen, and where of the global AI revolution. To put Czechia on the map, we must comprehend why and where we are standing today and ask critically: where ought we go?

Understanding the current state of AI requires us to locate, process, and analyse data to detect patterns and forecast trends across sectors, technologies, and policy initiatives. This event aims at examining the Czech AI ecosystem by looking at key data about the AI industry, as well as identifying the obstacles and challenges that it faces today or potentially in the future. Further, we contextualise the Czech AI environment in the broader context of strategic objectives of the European Union on competitiveness and strategic autonomy.

The goal of this event is to invite critical reflection on a common vision for the future of AI in Czechia in the context of the climate crisis, while extending crucial conversations from Brussels to Prague.

For this event, CETE-P and HumanAId project are partnering up with the Centre for European Policy Studies and their recent aiworld.eu platform, as well as with prg.ai
