Organized by the Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences as part of the CoRe project

Detailed information

How do environmental changes affect the way we experience the world? And how is ecological grief related to eco-anxiety, anger, and feelings of guilt?
We invite you to a lecture by Dr. Panu Pihkala from the University of Helsinki, one of the leading experts on eco-emotions. Drawing on interdisciplinary research, Pihkala will explore the nature of ecological grief and examine how it resembles—and differs from—other eco-emotions.

Panu Pihkala is a researcher at the University of Helsinki and the Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science. He is one of the most cited researchers in the field of eco-anxiety and has also long been involved in communicating and popularizing research on eco-emotions.
