Detailed information

Abstract

Linked Open Data (LOD) provides a machine-readable representation of the world, enabling entities – whether physical objects, concepts, ideas, or places – to be semantically linked. This interconnected structure forms an ever-expanding knowledge graph, which grows by integrating additional LOD-compliant data. The potential of this technology is immense, making it highly relevant for digital Neo-Latin studies, as a tool for research, data management, and collaboration. This talk explores the role LOD can play in Neo-Latin research.

The event is held with the support of the Jan Amos Komenský Operational Programme as part of the research project Trust: Knowledge in the Age of Distrust, reg. no. CZ.02.01.01/00/23_025/0008711.
